If you have some vitamin E, you can break the capsules open and smooth in onto the burned skin. I've heard that this promotes healing. There are more remedies in the link posted below.

Aloe Vera helps immensely if you use it at the very first sign of a burn. However, now that it has been two days, I can predict that it will alleviate some of the discomfort, but you will have several more days of pain. If the pain gets too severe -- silvadene cream is used for burns and it will help. But really after two days, you may just have to wait it out. Sorry.

I would say, try aloe Vera that's what works for me! but i think that is mainly for the pain. i recently went to camp and a good friend of mine had a horrible sunburn on her face and she tried some moisturizer maybe you could try that on your back! (make sure its not scented or anything, apparently that burns like crazy!)

If you don't have any open blisters, you can put noxema on it...or other skin care products that promote healing (aloe). You can go to your local pharmacy and ask. You should also pick up some sun block. When your back heals, the wisest thing to do is to put sun block on, especial on your back. You really have put yourself at risk for getting skin cancer.

Aloe!! Cool Aloe!!! They sell a gel with aloe that is meant for that. I am not sure what it is called, but it looks like hair gel. It is great!! It is sold where sun lotion is sold. Good Luck. Oh, yeah , when you get gel, put in the refreg and let it get cold and then put some on the burn.

You can't make it just go away. Try using aloe vera or something made specifically for sunburn there are many sprays you can buy at any drug store.

You just need to put lots of aloe on it and it'll go away in a couple of days. Why can't you go in the pool?

Try using aloe lotion. I have been using it and it is working. It is about the 3rd day I have used it and my sunburn is almost gone.

Use cider vinegar and aloe. I realize vinegar isn't the best-smelling stuff on earth, but having just gone through a lovely burn, I can tell you that it really does help!

It's a good idea to put aftersun on after you have been burnt. This cools down the burn and moisturises it so they skin doesn't peel. I use it and it works wonders for me.
