What is poor? I have met those with no money that were far more happier than those with millions. I have quotes from stars with millions who do not feel truly loved, and yet the opposite with poor people.
Love has nothing to do with money. Jesus said, "Greater love has no man than this... to give His life for His friends." Jesus was speaking of Himself and the love He has for every single person.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. - Jesus to Nicodemus in John 3:16
I have met many people in my life. Many of them poor, several of them rich. All those who know the Lord were all equally rich and each will receive the same reward in heaven. In fact, the Bible says that riches are deceitful and cause your salvation to be choked. Matthew 13:22
Who is rich, and who is poor? James 1:9-10 states...
"Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away."
It all has to do with a spiritual perspective, not a terrestrial one.

Because we live in an unjust world. God is not concerned with social equality. God is concerned about our future in His kingdom. How we live our lives for Him (or don't) is irrelevant to our social and economic status. God has His mind on the bigger picture. What is the comfort (or lack thereof) of 60 years on earth when weighed against all eternity? We are all God's children. If you had two sons, one was a wealthy businessman and the other a poor farmer, would you love one more than the other?

it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom. the poor tend ot rely on God not their money. but God loves each rich and poor just the same.

You cannot take your "treasures" from earth to Heaven. Things and money truly don't matter. God doesn't care how much money you have, he cares that you live your life the way He wants you to live your life. Being poor isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Maybe they're learning lessons in humility - or maybe it's because they're rich in other ways that many people take for granted, but having money would change that. I don't know. I'm not God.
