I'm throwing a baby shower for my best friend who is from France and I want to get custom napkins with "It's a Boy!" on them in French. I plugged it into FreeTranslation.com but I'm not sure what I got is correct. Any help would be appreciated. Serious answers only PLEASE. Thanks!

It's a boy = C'est un garçon.
BTW: It's a girl = C'est une fille.
(That's right--our word "filly" comes from fille.)

for a boy you say: ''c'est un garçon''
for a girl you say: ''c'est une fille''

just as a curiosity, in Portuguese =D it's ''é um menino'' for a boy, and ''é uma menina'' for a girl...

ok?
