First aid is a two year certification.
There is no refresher course for first aid, you just need to take the whole class over. I would recommend finding somewhere that offers the combined CPR and First Aid course. It is two days and you will get certified in both.
One course without the other leaves you with some serious gaps in your ability to respond if needed.
Good Luck!
