Your dog should be seen by a vet, even with prescribed meds most vets often test the dog first to see if they are safe to give to a particular dog example a blood test may be need to pretest kidneys and liver health and also to check your dogs clotting factors, For example giving a dog who has VWD (a bleeding disorder) an aspirin based med could end up being fatal because it would thin the blood too much and cause the dog to bleed to death if is bumps itself too hard and causes bruising, Ibuprohen can eat a hole through a dogs stomach.

I have one dog with a blood clotting disorder, she can heal from minor scratch and scrapes on her own so I never expected until a bloodtest revealed she had problems, so some drugs could cause serious problems for her

Ibuprofen is dangerous for a dog. My vet always told me to use buffered aspirin but you still need to ask a vet about dosage. Too little wont help and too much is bad for him.
