My wisdom teeth tend to start coming thru every time I get stressed, which is very annoying. They'll never come thru properly, just cause me a lot of pain as they push against my gum for a few days. At the moment, the side of my face is swollen and it hurts quite a bit. I've tried bonjella, but does anyone have any other remedies. I'm hesitant to use painkillers as I'm supposed to be out tonight partying and will be having a few drinks!!

Thanks in advance ppl!!

take bayer back and body pain...sounds silly but it works also get ambisol(used on babies when teeth start to come in) you can get it at your local pharmacy..have fun tonight afterwards tommorrow morning or next day please call your dentist and book an emergency appointment because you are in pain..time to take the wisdom teeth out...or at least for now get the infection down(thats what it sounds like)it is the worse pain...nobody should have to deal with that and feel better:)

You sound like you are probably at the age when most people have to address wisdom teeth issues. You will definitely need to see your dentist and have an x-ray to determine what is going on with them and whether or not you have an infection. If you have an infection, you will need antibiotics. Unfortunately, if you do have an infection over-the-counter medications won't be able to fully alleviate all of the pain. I would still suggest that you take something to reduce inflammation though.

Good luck

Well, just a while ago my wisdom teeth started growing in also, and while it can be annoying and painful... the side of my face hasn't swollen. I'm not sure about your teeth, but if the swelling and pain are severe i would suggest speaking with a dentist, because wisdom teeth can become impacted, which is where it is confined in the socket without room to grow out normally. your dentist will know more about what to do, and can help with pain.
