I personally don't fall for cheese lines or anything like that but I've heard things from :

"I love your accent"

The list keeps going. It turns me off when a guy can only tell me how hot he thinks I am . I am looking for more substance than that. Something more on the intellectual side.

In term of original, a guy show me a poster saying that it is designed by him and ask me what I think of it.
While the best one is saying nothing at all.. we just looked at each other and keep grinning to each other for almost half a day before saying hi.
