I think he or she is just someone who only answers certain questions relating to Catholicism. Since there are a lot of questions about Catholicism, he or she has a high number of answers. Since he answers in a polite and respectful, yet thorough way, he or she has a high number of best answers.
I also wondered why his or her number of best answers changes and I think it has something to do with the system no being able to handle that he has more than 3,000 (notice it is often fixed at 2,999).

Do not get worked up over someone elses accomplishments, especially in this case. There is no prize money associated with the most number of best answers.

All I know is his numbers of correct answers seems to change every few minutes in no rational direction.heh.

I have never seen this person answer any questions since I've been on here. I hear that there's something fishy with this answerer. good question.

I've never seen him. I'd love to know how he could possibly have so many best answers when it seems no one else has ever seen him either.

i was wondering that yesterday my self.... maybe he comes on in the middle of the night or during the day. ive seen his answers a couple times, but it was a few months ago.
