"compromised."

If it is, then it was never true to begin with

experienced.

The more faithful you are, the more you have to ignore contradictory evidence. By the time you have lost enough sensation to avoid doubting even a little bit of your faith (in other words, basic sentience), you have to be dead.

If it turns out that the theists are right and there is an afterlife, there will be no need for faith because it will simply be knowledge.

Law.

"From faith to faith": speaks of TWO sorts of faith,
which (law/grace) things are "allegory" & "mystery".
http://www.godshew.org/TwainShew2.htm#Faiths

Blind faith: Law (then faith, in law, was as blind)
Seeing faith: Grace (now faith is the "evidence")
If the blind lead the blind, then both fall, from grace.
http://www.godshew.org/Faiths.htm

Whatsoever is not of faith is sin: Romans 14:23
The law is not of faith: Galatians 3:12
Connecting the dots: law = sin
http://www.godshew.org/BiblicalDots.htm

Not to mention faith is least of three things:
Faith -> Hope -> Charity(never fails a test)
Two Faiths -> Two Hopes -> One Charity
http://www.godshew.org/Charity.htm

Biblical charity is above forgiving one another.
Charity thinketh no evil = Charity isn't law law.
It's not registered with, nor limited by, the law.
It does not ever law impute any sin to forgive.
For law imputed sin also brings death unto all.
Law is both source & strength of sin's death sting.

Law: both good and evil, ends bad: evil.
Grace: good only, never evil, ends good.

The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.

Earned. Faith is given to us by grace. We believe and we receive.
