The only sure way to protect is to physically prevent access to the memory card. You could potentially use a DRM solution but the cost would be fairly high, especially for a single memory card worth of songs. We've also seen that the DRM included in HD DVD and BluRay DVD have both been broken repeatedly within a short period of time by some determined hackers.

If you are just storing the songs (not playing them), you could try to zip the songs and apply a password to the file. It isn't unbreakable but would deter a typical person.
