You are correct that all Christians are saints. What the rest of us are talking about are those people who have been given special recognition for the holy lives they led. It is like the Christian Hall of Fame.

According to the BIBLE, we are all saints when we become Christians. The Catholic "church" seems to write their own version of Christianity every time they "elect" a new leader. CHRIST is the Head ofr HIS CHUIRCH. We are given instructions on how the Elders and Deacons are to be selected and a person is not a saint after he/she has died. Get a Bible and please study it.
