I'm an atheist and I love sports, as well.
Interesting topic, that of faith and sports. Why do players always thank god for a win or for their talent? Isn't it reasonable that humans would represent all possibilities along the 'good in sports' curve, with most being in the average range? So, why do people thank god for their talent? If god blessed someone with a talent for, say, throwing a football well, did he punish or 'curse' me by not giving me this same talent? If a team wins and thanks god, does that mean god doesn't like the other team?

I'm Catholic also, and a baseball fan -- from Little League to the majors, I love watching the game no matter who's playing (although I will admit to a particular fondness for the St. Louis Cardinals.)

I'm an atheist, and I am a big NFL and NCAA football fan. I also like college hoops.
For college, I follow WVU, UGA, and Georgia Tech to a certain extent. For pro football, I root for the Falcons by proxy, because I live in Atlanta. If I moved elsewhere, I'd likely follow their local team.

Atheist. Love sports. I support the local summer wooden bat league team - Keene Swamp Bats. I also go to minor league baseball, AHL hockey, and college hockey. No particular team.

Atheist - I love sports and I support the Dolphins
Alas, your God seems to hate my team at this current point in time.

Agnostic, and I like watching hockey and rugby, love motorcycle racing (streetbikes, like Moto GP, World Superbike and AMA Superbike), rally racing, LeMans and Formula 1.
I personally enjoy hiking, camping, summiting 14ers (peaks over 14,000'), snowshoeing, road and mountain bicycling.
None of my accomplishments have been given to me by an invisible deity; the strength comes from within.
