A warrant in any state can get you arrested as a fugitive in the state you are caught in.

The question is, will the issuing agency extradite you back to that jurisdiction.

So, bottom line.... YES.

Extradition is the legal surrender of a fugitive to the jurisdiction of another state, country, or government for trial.

If the state holding the warrant against the individual is willing to "extradite" the suspect listed upon the warrant...then yes...they will arrest an individual in Arizona who has a warrant in California.

Best wishes.

It's more of a matter of if the issuing court set the warrant to be extraditable from other states. Most misdemeanor warrants are only extraditable within the state of issue, were most felony warrant are extraditable from all 50 states if the issuing jurisdiction is willing to extradite you

If you have a warrant in California and you get pulled over in any of the 50 states, it will show up and you'll be going to jail.

It usually depends on the severity of the crime for which the warrant was issued. Costs for expediting (transportation back to the state that issued the warrant) is also a determining factor.

Yes if you get pulled over or busted the police will see it and arrest you. Why don't you just deal with your stuff before the penalties get really huge. You did something wrong, just go take care of business so you don't have to live on the run.

If AZ happens to be in the geographical limits. Depending on the severity of the crime committed, it may only be extraditable to surrounding counties in California, surrounding states or anywhere in the US.

Well if you are in southern Arizona, just slip on down to Mexico. You will never have to worry. They wont even extradite cop killers back to the US.
