Seriously, slavery, rape, arson, looting of cities, selling of daughters as sex slaves, physical impossibilities, mathematical impossibilities (that go against definitions guys) are all present. How can it be the absolute word of God? Seriously I don't think any divine being of any religion can be that inaccurate.

Jesus Saves: you never answered the question.
If you follow the Bible, you support slavery, rape, pilllaging, extermination of entire civilizations, famine and pestilence, selling of sex slaves.
Not to mention absolute physical impossibilities i.e. pi=3

Sabbonist: selling of daughters as sex slaves:
When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

pi=3, a definite impossibility (like making a round square) because it goes against the definition.

Due to the fact that these
Christians use the Protestant Old Testament which is lacking 7 entire books 2 (Tobias, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus/Sirach, Baruch, I Maccabees, and II Maccabees), 3 chapters of Daniel and 6 chapters of Esther may be one of the reasons they ask catholics so many questions.
For the Sola Scriptura this is too bad .
In the 16th c., Luther removed those books from the canon that lent support to orthodox doctrine, relegating them to an appendix. Removed in this way were books that supported such things as:
prayers for the dead (Tobit 12:12; 2 Maccabees 12:39-45),
Purgatory (Wisdom 3:1-7),
intercession of dead saints (2 Maccabees 15:14),
and intercession of angels as intermediaries (Tobit 12:12-15).
The lesson, though, is this: relying on the "Bible alone" is a bad idea; we are not to rely solely on Sacred Scripture to understand Christ's message. While Scripture is "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16-17), it is not sufficient for reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. It is the Church that is the "pillar and ground of Truth" (1 Timothy 3:15)! Jesus did not come to write a book; He came to redeem us, and He founded a Sacramental Church through His apostles to show us the way. It is to them, to the Church Fathers, to the Sacred Deposit of Faith, to the living Church that is guided by the Holy Spirit, and to Scripture that we must prayerfully look.

Man without God becomes more and more evil. The laws of God in the Old Testament were written so man would know that he is not capable of keeping God's commandments, therefore Jesus had to die for our sins. Without Jesus, God would not have even considered redeeming us. Yet, God loved us so much that He sent Jesus.
Your problem is that you have no fear of God. Until you know who God is by reading His Word with the help of the Holy Spirit, you are blind. God's Word says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Jesus said, "seek ye first the kingdom of heaven." When you seek and find God and know His greatness, you will be awe struck. And in His presence you will change. You will be born again as if you'd never been born. As if you'd truly never known much of anything. Everything that you knew before, has now completely changed. You hunger and thirst for God. You can't stay out of His Word, the Holy Bible. You've encountered the greatest experience known to mankind and there is no way to ever be the same again. To say God is awesome is a limited, meaningless and unacceptable statement. No words have been created to describe this Holy Being.

1Ki 7:23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: [it was] round all about, and his height [was] five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
Are you seriously suggesting that this is meant to be an EXACT measurement?!? The Bible is not a math textbook, never has been, never will be.
As for physical impossibilities, exactly what are you talking about? More than likely you're saying "because man can't do so-and-so it means the Bible is wrong". That's a flaw in your logic not the Bible.
As for the other things, I'd be willing to bet you're isolating O.T. occurrences without understanding the context.

You're forgetting that the guys who wrote the bible had little or no background for what they had to say. They lived in a time when every tiny aspect of life was governed by signs, omens, and superstitions beyond count or understanding.
Then those scribblings were collected and made into a book. The ancient writings were translated from the original to various other languages. Some of the modern versions are translations of translations of translations,
Anyone who knows anything about language knows that one language cannot be translated exactly into another language.

The people who wrote the Bible were accurate--for their time, of course.
However, when the Bible was translated, I believe it lost some of its meanings.
What you also have to look at is the fact that modern Christian scientists are proving more and more each day that the Bible is indeed accurate, just perhaps not 'literally'.
The majority of events in the Bible are easily explained and would have appeared to be miracles to these people. Even today, some of these events might seem miraculous to us as well.

Human concepts. The WORD of God, the essense of what is said IS true, but as far as things like mathematical impossibilities, you must realize that the use of numbers was one to give the concept of a greatness in size...they did not have the same understanding of numbers as we do today... and you do believe that mankind has grown in wisdom to some extent don't you?

this question brings to options C.S. Lewis’ nicely accepted “trilema” from his e book Mere Christianity in which the “open-minded skeptic” is supposedly keen to settle for the historicity of Jesus Christ, yet deny the orthodox view of Christ because the incarnate Son of God. to that end supposedly the “open-minded skeptic” is willingly to position Christ contained in the category of a “reliable guy” yet no longer settle for the Biblical revelation of Christ. that's purpose is to speak about the fallacy of wondering that Jesus might want to nicely be a “tremendous moral instructor” and by no ability settle for Him for who He stated is, God contained in the flesh. The “trilema” argument takes various propositions of Christ, as presented contained in the gospels, and states that if Christ claimed to be God and replaced into deluded as to His identity (a lunatic), or deceive his followers (a liar), then he might want to no longer were a “tremendous moral instructor.” to that end the in ordinary words selection left is that he's Lord. On what foundation do you've faith the money owed of Jesus’ ‘reliable’ works or philosophy are reliable and yet different statements on the issue of Christ’s identity aren't from now on?

Must I remind you that the bible was written in another time period in a place that is very unlike our own.
To believe the Bible is true, you have to believe that the one who inspired it has the ability to do all things- even those that go against all human reason.

Do you really think those so-called fallacies stand up to real and open, honest evaluation?
If so, take up the challenge, specify any of them that you like- but just one at a time- and lets subject it to thorough rational thinking and discuss it from both sides. Write to me by using the Contact US button from the below website. But if you're scared to- just ignore my answer after putting a thumbs down on it.
