I do believe in the possibilty of the Big Bang. There's absolutely no reason why God couldn't have used that method to create the universe.
As a Bible researcher, one of the things I try to do is to harnmonize science and the Bible.
I've discovered that both the Old Earth enthusiasts and the Young Earth proponents are correct and I've used the Bible to show that prehistoric man (cave men) existed before Adam and Eve...so the Big Bang is just as likely to be how God created the universe as any other theory.

I personally believe in the Big Bang and Evolution Theories, and I'm a Christian, but I also believe in Creationism. I think that God allowed for evolution to happen and that he made the big bang happen all that. Scientist say the chances of The Big Bang happening the way it did and how we evolved from little micro-organisms is about a 1 in a 1,000,000x100 chance, so I think that God was there and he allowed and made it all happen. I only wish that Christians listened to scientist a little more (not on every subject) we could understand a lot more.

Yes and since I have taken graduate level physics including General Relativity and Cosmology classes and have worked at NASA on the Einstein Observatory project, I actually understand it and can work out the mathematics for myself, Unlike those in here who claim it is false and yet don't know the first thing about it.
A creationist telling me the big bang or evolution is false is like when a three year old tells me calculus is false. I simply can't assign much credibility to their opinion.

Why do I need to "believe" in the big bang. It is a reasonable hypothesis of how the universe started but does not explain everything. The belief in a God however is a lot less reasonable.

Nope i do not
"Why does people relate space expansion(proved by the red shift) to a universal expansion? We all know that space is flexible so why does people attribute a spatial distortion to the beginning of the universe(it could simply be the result of a change of a big amount of mass into energy)?
I actually understand the logic they use, yet i can't stop myself from believing that the spatial distortion we observe is nothing more than a local event."

I don't believe the universe was formed by a big bang, but rather a mildly loud bang.

I don't believe in the Big bang because you do not need a massive singularity event to have a universe.

Of course Allah created the whole universe with a big bang.

So if you think that he would do something of that sorts, why don't you believe in the Big Bang?

i never really voiced my opinion on the big bang theory b/c of all the people who do and don't believe in it so either it happened or not, you believe what you need to.
