One square inch of cheese is usually the estimated "serving size" in 1 oz of the product. The number of calories in my LOW FAT pepper jack cheese for a 1 oz/1 sq inch serving size is 70. If your cheese has full fat, this, obviously will be higher.

Look at the package and see how much is in it weight wise. Then look at the calories. Cut out your one square inch, and weigh that. The do the rest mathmatically.
Package weight / square inch weight= X
Package Calories / X=square inch calories

That's actually not something that most people know right off the top of their heads. The easiest way to find out would be to look at the label; if you need to know before going to the grocery store....call them and ask 'em to check for you. Chances are they will be happy to oblige.
