Battery Drain?

After waiting 14 hours with no answers in section of LANDLINE phones, maybe some of the regulars here can help me.Written yesterday.
As of 6/14 getting rid of land line service. Maybe for 3 months, maybe for 6 months. To save on battery drain as much as possible, do I take battery out of land line cordless phone or leave it in and keep it charged with phone charger plugged into electrical outlet?

When you are not usign the phone, keep it in the charger and keep the charger plugged in. This will avoid any battery drain issues.
