A radiologist is a MD, with specialized training after obtaining the medical degree. You will need to go to medical school. Is this what you really mean ?

after med school, they do another 2 years of specialized training in the field. they make alot of money, but it also depends on if theyre in a group or working individual. some are in hospital based settings, some work for insurance companies, and depending on if therye an interventional radiologist, they will do many invasive procedures, like biopsies, para and thoracentesises. fluroscopy studies and reading images for diagnoses is primarily what they do. its a huge responsibility. also, they must be board certified to read mamograms and mri images. check into a radiologist assisant, its like a PA of an MD and its new field. not as much schooling, either.
