Im 18 and from canada highschool, this girl i really like, who i think likes me has just gone and done something out of the ordinary the other day which makes me think shes taking me for granted!Okay it was one week back when i asked her to a concert, and she accepted, i didnt buy tickets as there are door sales. We had everything finalised, and when the big day came, about 30mins before the concert started she goes and says that shes way too busy with her study and cannot go to the concert!!!, i was furious,.....she said shell make it up to me and everything, but i just havent talked to her since!like nothing!!!(been a couple of days). This is the second time this girl has done this to me, although this was the big one!, i feel she thinks im always going to be there when she needs me, and i always have been, maybe i shouldnt, and see what happens?what do you girls think, should i go find another instead, i really like this girl, but dont know what she wants!what should i do anyway?

From what you said, I don't see how she has taken you for granted...She has backed out of two dates that you guys had planned to get together on. Do you think maybe she's not really into you like that, but is just stringing you along for the heck of it?...If you really want to get to the bottom of this, call and ask whats up with all this last minute cancellation.

On any given day, do you act like a doormat to the girls you like? If, from the beginning you're always hovering over her, making her happy, wanting to be her gopher and all, she'll take it that that's the way she should treat you and maybe take you for granted. Be sweet and nice to her but don't end up a doormat.
This girl sounds high in need... move on, I'm sure you'll find a nice girl to be with, someone who will appreciate you for who you are.

Don't find another. Give her another chance, chances are she does like you and was just nervous, and got cold feet at the last minute. Just ask her about it, and ask if she still wants to catch up. If she does it again, probably best to move on, or bring it to her attention that it hurts you when she just dismisses you at the last minute.
