Here is enough to get you started. Most people will learn "tab" and never know what notes they are playing.
(sorry the chart does not convert well in Yahoo Answers. It doesn't show the nice neat columns as I have prepared it.)

Open 1st Fret 2nd 3rd 4th 5th
E F F#/Gb G G#/Ab A
B C C#/Db D D#/Eb E
G G#/Ab A A#/Gb B C
D D#/ Eb E F F#/Gb G
A A#/Bb B C C#/Db D
E F F#/Gb G G#/Ab A

The notes progress in intervals of half steps. Half steps are the shortest distance between one note and the next.
The following is a chromatic scale. A chromatic scale is made up of intervals of half steps.
A- A#/Bb- B-C- C#/Db- D- D#/Eb- E- F- F#/Gb- G- G#/Ab
Follow this scale to get the rest of the notes for the remaining frets on your guitar.

At the link given below, just click on any string at any fret on the guitar fingerboard diagram and it will give you the note name for that fret on that string.

And when you download the "notes" of a guitar and find a quality guitar would you know what next to do?

The "notes" you're referring to are known as chords--diagrams that show where you place your fingertips in the frets of a guitar.

Your best option is to buy a beginner's guitar book having chords, basic music theory, and instructions on tuning, holding, and caring for the guitar. The next important item is to hire a guitar instructor to teach you what habits to ignore and what habits to learn during your learning.

You will not become a proficient guitar player overnight or in three months. It takes years of concentrated study and practice to play like the guitarists you see on TV.
