Here is a fact.
There is only one way to lose weight...
Use more calories than you intake. Period.
Now, there are healthy ways, and unhealthy ways to lose weight.
Eating healthy calories and spreading them out over the period of the day is the most healthy way. Eating a small amount, every few hours, will boost your metabolism and help you to use up the calories instead of storing them as fat.
You should eat most of your calories for breakfast, as opposed to eating them late in the day. And try not to eat any later than 2-3 hours prior to you going to bed.
Eating a 140 calorie cereal bar is fine. The 35 fat calories will burn off if you stay active, anyway.
Hope this helps.

That would fill me up for about an hour. However, with the baby (I'm about 23 weeks pregnant) I get hungry quicker. I just had a bowl of cereal (a cup of Kashi Go Lean, a cup of store equivelant Honey Nut Cheerios, and just over a cup of soy milk) and I'll be hungry by 10 or 10:30.
The fat content seems a little high. Also, what else is and isn't in the bar? High fructose corn syrup? Corn syrup? Partially hydrogenated oils? Hydrogenated oils? Artificial anything? That's stuff I avoid. Does it have whole grains as the first ingredient?
For me, even before the pregnancy, that wouldn't have been enough.

DON'T USE ANY KIND OF "MAGIC WEIGHT LOSS PILL" they don't work. The only thing that does work, is exercise, and most importantly, diet. Eating many small meals a day will help your body get used to not having to store as much fat becasue it knows it will get fed. It's like a machine--You train your body to know that you will eat every 2-3 hours, and it will knwo that it doesn't need to store as much fat as it does. (Back in the cave man days, your body learned how to store fat becasue it didn'tk now when it was goin to eat hte next time, thus, the fat storage began).
Seriously though ,don't starve yourself, it will only cause you to retain more fat. Exercise regualrly, and don't go below a 1,500 calorie a day diet!
I do cardio everyother day, and between those days, I do weight lifting. The more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn just sitting there. It's a really cool science if you knwo how it all works.
Just don't starve yourself. Good luck.
