Someone said here that they want people to drown, or something like that. I'm pagan, and have never wished anyone to drown. I don't know anyone who has for that matter.

They don't take the time to learn about it either. Yes, people can use witchcraft for evil. But most don't. Its not about worshipping satan (seeing as satan is a christian thing) and its not about putting curses on people or turning them into frogs. I think the fact that there is no set rules, or set beliefs that they find confusing.

They say it's evil because some of those cults promote sacrifice and murder. But you're right, people can be oppressive in the name of the Christian and Islamic god. But really, if the amount of evil people in the monotheistic religions were believers of the pagan and witchcraft religions, they would commit evil acts in the name of their religion all the same. Witchcraft, wicca and paganism is not evil- its just how christians have been taught to perceive it. There are persons who use magic and witchcraft for the bad and it is perfectly possible to attract evil entities- however practiced properly witchcraft is wonderful and as you say peaceful and loving. It has been my saving.
