What about London Tube Stations - we had one with this theme before and it was really great - people have to be really imaginative.
I went as Bow Street and stuck loads of bows all over a catsuit! Someone else came as Angel Islington dressed you've guessed it as an Angel - theres loads of scope and the best part is guessing which one they've come as

The best one I have been to is a B party! Everyone has to come as something beginning with B. That way you set a theme but give people the freedom to adapt it we had babies, bugs bunny, boxer, bob Marley, burglar, break-dancer etc. Choose a letter that allows you to be wonder woman (W/H for hero/S for super hero etc) and let peoples imaginations run riot. You will end up with allsorts of outfits!

I'm confused...do you mean a costume party? A fancy dress party sounds like a cocktail party or formal affair. Make the theme comic strip characters since you chose wonder woman already.

This might sound "dorky" but - Harry Potter theme. Everyone has to dress like some sort of wizard AND perform one magic trick for the rest of the guests.

Characters from films always goes down well and will allow you to be wonder woman and not alienate the men. It also means that people who are not that into fancy dress can still make the effort without having to be outrageous.

I once had a fancy dress party and the theme was, 'when the ship went down'. It gives everyone scope to come in what thay want, they have to imagine that what they are wearing was what they had on when the captain decided to abandon ship

I went to a Blues Brothers party once, which was good fun. The outfit was cheep to come up with as I just had to get a hat from the joke shop.
Happy 18th to you and enjoy your party, whatever you go with.

Have you heard of "come as you are parties"? The idea is that you pick up your guests or someone else does some time b4 the prearraged time to catch them off gaurd, then they have to come in whatever they are wearing, can be risque. If they are in the shower they can wear a towel. But within reason or whatever your limits are.
