From a vegetarian point of view I can't see anything wrong with it. A person must consent to their organs, blood etc being donated, or even if their families donate them after death, it's not as though the person has been deliberately killed for that purpose (I hope!!!).

I would say yes, it is OK. I am born and brought up as a vegetarian and believe in non-violence but organ or blood receiving for saving the body is OK.

Well, i'm a veggie and blood donor. I see no problem with vegans using my blood because i give it FREELY.

unlike any animals used for food or clothes.

I also used to have a broken keyboard.

Its very simple, all require a donor. Thus given by said donor. What would be the conflict there?
