i sent you an email with some advise for the babies while mum recovers. you aren't doing anything wrong babies don't poop everytime they are fed, kittens that are three weeks old feed every two hours with kmr and you can add in some blended down kitten food now. when my furbabies were three weeks old and not doing wees or poos for themselves i would rub tummies before and after feeding you get more in. please feel free to email me if you need any help as i've been hand raising my furbabies as mum couldn't feed them. and if it turns out that izzy has to stop because of her injuries i've learnt a lot over the last few weeks.

First, don't worry. Your are doing the right things.

You really only need to feed them every 3-4 hours. It's ok to feed them more often, but you will go crazy after a few days trying to maintain your feeding schedual.

Young kittens don't always poop every day. If they don't poop for a few days you can get some paraffin oil for constipation from your vet or chemist. The vet will tell you how much to use.

Sometimes rubbing their lower stomach, just above their business end help them poop when they are ready to go.

P.S. I like using baby wipes on kittens bottoms because they are convenient.

Just rub their behind a little with a wet cloth. I don't think you are doing anything wrong, I think nature will work eventually. You could give them a little cow's milk (the one we drink), normally you shouldn't because it gives them diarrhea, but if they are constipated it may help. If the problem persists over 24 hours, give them a little paraffin oil, just a drop, it is sold in pharmacies for people for constipation. But consult a vet before you give that, because you have to know you have got the correct product, and that it is appropriate for so small kitties. I have given it to my adult cat, I am not sure about kittens.

I have three male cats and a million of them has continuously pooped at the flooring correct in entrance of any of the clutter packing containers. He has performed this considering the fact that he was once a youngster and I do not feel he is gonna difference now! He pees within the field however I feel he simply does not just like the suppose of sand in his.. good, you realize. The simplest comfort I have is that two of the clutter packing containers are in my laundry room on tile and he continuously makes use of them, I even have a million in a bed room on carpet and he would possibly not poop in there...shrewd kitty! I have picked my man up 100 occasions within the core of a poop and placed him again within the field however he simply jumps correct again out. Maybe use tore up newspaper (perhaps he does not just like the suppose of clutter on his butt both) I do not even care anymore, I scoop it off the ground equal as in his field!

Sounds like you are doing the right thing, but you didn't say if the cloth was wet....make sure it is slightly wet with warm water. I hope mom cat turns up soon! Good luck!
