definitely pick a decade, they are so diff in your set up and planning. Think about a TV show from the decade you liked (or heard about) Charlie's Angels, Soul Train or American Bandstand, Dukes of Hazard, all those cop shows like Baretta-Chips- Angie something...food could be fondue stations. Melted cheese and chocolate with a lot of things to dip in it are always fun. How about the Love Boat--could have it where when the come to door the cruise director Julie & Gopher are there to Greet them ...set the room up to look like the Lido deck and this is the welcome aboard party..they could dress like stars they saw on the show or just in the best summer vacation outfit (don't forget the hawaiian shirt & camera). But remember there's only 1 Charro!!!

A $30 funds is difficult for any celebration fairly, yet extraordinarily one with a topic. The 70's might want to get you the most bang on your greenback. Have all and multiple are available gown which will automaticaly set the topic for the evening and upload that "look". inspect some song from the library, borrow some fondue pots and function at it.

70's was definitely a time for Disco. Party City has a lot of decorations with that theme. Look at the site below for other help, food, invitations, etc.

I would make the theme either Disco with a disco light ball or maybe use the theme from Grease as it was a very popular 80's movie when I was growing up but Disco was in

take this as advice... you'll be the coolest girl in your class... set the room up just the way Eric's basement looks like in that seventies show.... and tell your friends to dress up as the characters of the show... you should be Donna. i think the marijuana theme might be inappropriate so i am definitely not telling you to make that part of the theme (even though they're always smoking it on the show haha).

all you need to make it look like his basement is by putting a couch in middle of room... a freezer with pop sicles ( you get 100 for 6 dollars at costco) ... tv showing a 70's movie... and colorful decoration all over because people relate that to hippies.. right? well i hope you like my advice... i bet kids would love it! good luck!
