If that was true justified. Then if you just left gay people alone they would fail too procreate, and sease to exist in no time. Then you would be happy right? So all you people who are spreading so much hatred are actually stopping gay people from becoming extinct. If I were to follow your logic . Also gay people have always existed they have not just appeared out of nowhere. The Romans at the height of their empire practiced homosexuality as the norm. Probably before christianity and muslim religions existed it was probably reguared as quite normal. Why don't you put your bible down and start reading about history and nature and human relationships. God gave you the ability to think for your self so why dont you do it. When the bible was written there was a shortage of human drones to carry out all the work for the rich well educated people. That is why in the bible it says man shall not lie with man. Since you were a child you have been proverbally hit over the head

with the bible you are brain washed. If I were to ask you did Jonah live in a whale you would I hope at least say no. You may well argue that somethings thing in the bible should not be taken literally. probably 200 years ago plus people would not have been educated enough to know that he could not have possilby lived in a whales stomach. It was written by people who had an agenda to make the masses do what suited them.

We should be able to see through this by now.

"Good point well made, it states in Leviticus Chapter 18 Verse 22 that homosexuality is an abomination. Which reminds me—there are a couple of things I need guidance on. Firstly, if I wanted to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7, how much could I expect to make from such a deal? Also, my colleague Pete insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus clearly says he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or is it OK to get some outside help? Lastly, does the whole city really have to be together to stone my brother John for planting different crops side by side? And when I burn my mother for wearing garments made from two different threads, do I torch her whole or just a bit?”

MY thinking is... k so in school they taught us different perespectives to have on the bible, i personally think that the bible's 100% divine and 100% man in the way, God kinda breathed his inspiration into man and they wrote the bible, however as men they tried to be opportunistic and thats when you get flaws, contradictions etc. on the bible. People that say there is no big or small sin, k...im sure ud rather id sin by working on Sunday rather than becoming a serial killer.. Im ranting- i dont think God Cares if you're gay or not, he's still up there preoccupied with how Lucifer got George Bush by him.

The Bible does not call particular attention to homosexuals as a group to be ostracized or hated by Christians. Moreover, it does not teach that God will punish homosexuals—or any of his creatures—by burning them in a fiery hell forever.—Compare Romans 6:23.

However, the Scriptures do set forth the moral standards of our Creator, which oftentimes run counter to modern-day mores. Homosexual acts, heterosexual sex between unmarried persons, and bestiality are all condemned in the Bible. (Exodus 22:19; Ephesians 5:3-5) God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of such sexual practices.—Genesis 13:13; 18:20; 19:4, 5, 24, 25.

Regarding acts of homosexuality, God’s Word pointedly says: “This is a hateful thing.” (Leviticus 18:22, The New Jerusalem Bible) God’s Law to Israel stipulated: “When a man lies down with a male the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing. They should be put to death without fail.” (Leviticus 20:13) The same punishment was prescribed for those committing bestiality, incest, and adultery.—Leviticus 20:10-12, 14-17.

The apostle Paul was inspired to describe homosexual acts as expressions of “disgraceful sexual appetites” and as “contrary to nature.” He writes: “That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error. And just as they did not approve of holding God in accurate knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mental state, to do the things not fitting.”—Romans 1:26-28.

The Scriptures offer no apologies, no concessions, no ambiguity; homosexual practices, adultery, fornication, are all repulsive in God’s sight. Accordingly, true Christians do not water down the Bible’s position on “disgraceful sexual appetites” merely to become more popular or more acceptable to modern culture. Nor do they agree with any movement dedicated to the promotion of homosexuality as a normal life-style.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that many sexual practices are not healthy. The body works hard to get poisons out of it. Then humans indulge in sexual practices that get the poison right back in the body, (the Bloodstream), where it creates sickness and DEATH!
Bashing homosexuals however is crap! As they have a spirit in them too. And those that bash are just trying to cover up for their own failings.
Jesus never criticized the weaknesses of the flesh. He hung out with the winos! Jesus condemned the weaknesses of the spirit. Character. Like self-righteous and hypocritical condemnation of others.
And on the flip side! The "Holier than Thou" making excuses for everything!

there is having the desire or temptation to sin with someone of the same sex and then there is the act of sin.

My interpretation of the bible is that he does hate the sin. Just as he hates other sin. People CAN help what they are tempted by - just as we would expect child molesters to not carry through with their inner desires, God expects gays not to carry through with the sexual act.

This does not mean he doesnt love them, he would be happy to accept any one into his family if they repent and live a life according to his word.

Whether it is some who is gay or are destroyed by a tragedy, each life is precious to God. The Bible says that it is not God's wish that any should perish. But that all should have eternal life. We are all His children. May God BLess U.

FIRST of all, homosexuality IS destruction of the world and the human race. 5% will grow just like its grown from 0%. And humans will stop reproducing. The successful species are those who mate with animals that can give rise to offspring. Animals who waste time and energy mating with animals of their own gender are less successful. What you're saying is like suggesting that goats would who mate 50% of their time with tree stumps would do as well (reproductively) as those who mate with female goats 100%. No they wouldn't, goats who mate with tree stumps would eventually be wiped out.
Look around you. Where are all of the ambisexual animals? The fact that most humans are not NATURALLY bisexual or homosexual.

Homosexuality is NOT the norm. Some goats are born with two heads ,it's an abnormality.
There are people who are into bestiality and paedophilia, do you think intelligent people think that they are normal?

There is no such thing as a big sin or a small sin. Wrong is wrong and the Bible tells us that being guy is a sin.
