My boyfriend fingered me, and it hurt, and I think his finger kinda went in...but it didn't bleed at all. Is my hymen broken or not?

Not every girl bleeds when their hymen is broken. You might have been one of those girls, or your hymen just isn't broken yet.

According to Wikipedia.org, "only 43% of women report bleeding the first time they had sex; which means that in the other 57% of women the hymen likely stretched enough that it didn't tear"

You never quite know if the hymen is broken or not. Blood isn't necessarily a tell-tale sign. The hymen can be broken by other things like tampons...and sometimes even breaks on its own.

Alot of the time a woman's hymen will break not from sex or sexual activities at all. It can happen from doing sport eg. horse riding, running jumping. Plus when your hymen breaks it may not blead at all. The only way you can find out is from and internal examination by your docter or gynocologist. It has long been recognised that a hymen being broken is no indicator to whether you are or aren't a virgin.

this is a question that none of us can answear oboviously because it is your vagina. the only way you could tell would be going to a doctor. But you dont always bleed when your hymen breaks either. many girls worry that if they dont bleed their bf will think they are not really a virgen but this isnt true. Remember if thinking about sexual activity please use protection for your safety and look after yourself.

it's hard to tell. Some girls are born without one, some break theirs playing sports and don't know it. The only way to know is to see a gynecologist.
