It's really not that bad. If I had a choice of having it or not then of course I would choose not to have it, but it's not a big deal at all.
I have had genital herpes and HPV for 6+ years. When I'm not having an outbreak I live a completely normal, happy, life. I've been outbreak free now for over 2 years and I hardly ever think about having either virus. It's just not something I think of every day or something that controls my life.

Horrible. It is not worth it. Sex can definitely wait. I got 3 different STD's from one guy. My genital area itches constantly and I am forever in pain. It causes physical and mental pain. I am embarassed and I really don't want to talk to any guys because I don't want to have the talk. It is hard to deal with. People often judge you. I want to cry just thinking about it.

I do not know, but I am pretty sure its bad. It can be very painful, ruin relationships, can strain you from not being able to have kids, etc. No STD is good of course, but if you do get one, you would want something like chylamedia or gohnerrea since it is cureable.

It is not as bad as everyone thinks... of course it is not the FUNNEST thing is the whole world... and I would rather NOT have them... but I currently have HPV and HSV (Herpes) and my life is perfectly fine. I have also had Clamydia. I am not proud of it by any means... but things happen and life goes on. I have a wonderful husband (who I got one of them from) but we also have a beautiful and healthy son who I delievered vaginally... Most days I dont even think about my STDs and I am just thankful that they are not as serious as AIDS. I consider myself lucky.

It's pretty cool actually, I've had HSV (Herpes) for just over 6 months and it's not bad at all! I don't know why more people don't want it!
