Did you know that Mcdonalds will make you fat? Kill you way before your time, and is using cows raised in the rainforest? Cutting down our precious resources so you can clog your arteries.
I'm thinking I'm going to filibuster in Washington to make fast-food illegal. I don't feel that people should have the choice about this because they don't seem to know what's good for them or our environment, so lets just see if we can get a few people to chose for you.
Before you actually answer this with all due seriousness. (an example that I truly don't believe for a minute. But illustates my point).
This corrilates with what it would be like if we truly started to allow for anti choice in many areas of our lives. Not just abortion.
Doesn't the words anti-choice just send chills down your spine?

You know what's funny? I don't think the worst of humanity no matter how evidence stacks up to the contrary. I grew up in an abusive environment, where my father should have lost his freedom, but didn't.
I didn't have the choice about that. I wouldn't wish being unwanted or abused on anyone. Pro-life doesn't really take into consideration family environment either.
It takes nothing into account but an unborn fetus. Whose life doesn't matter once it's here either.

Comparing someones choice to destroy one's OWN body by overeating in no way resembles the despicable slaughter of the unborn. It's not choice; it's a CHILD
So,.....that child grows up with a father who rapes her, where are you now? Did you do a thing to make sure that her life was worth living?
Some of you block out the realities of children born unloved and unwanted and unplanned, by people who are not, for whatever reason ready to parent.
Do you have any idea the massive responsibility of parenting? I bet most of you do.
It shouldn't be forced and it isn't for everybody. MOst have the ability to get pregnant. My neighbors sister managed it in her car-home while high on meth.
Should she parent? The state said no, and the baby became their ward. Her life was gambled with. Yes, my neighbor stepped in and took the baby in. So, you can all settle in with the happily ever after.
But it isn't all like that, and to think that it is is purely fairy tail.

That's the problem with taking away choice - you make decisions for others that you have no right making. Making decisions for others in their lives is akin to judging them without knowing them - it doesn't work for long.
As for your 2nd example - that's why the sides are known as they are. Could you imagine an argument between two sides, one being known as Pro Baby Killers, and the other as We're Smarter than you so we'll make all of your decisions?

You're right, of course - but at the same time I can understand why the anti-abortion fans are as wild as they are. If I truly believed that lickle baybees were getting slaughtered, I'd probably be upset. (OK - I loathe children - bad example, but the point stands.)
It isn't really going to change their minds that what they're calling for is anti-democratic, anti-choice and anti-freedom. Babies getting killed is too important to them to worry about that.
I have no idea how you convince these people that a lump of developing tissue that happens to *look* baby-shaped (a very small one, and with a face like a fish) ISN'T actually a baby yet. Maybe they'll never cotton on - it's all just too emotive.

A pedophile says his choice of sexual pleasure is his own business and says the government and people should keep their nose out of his life if the children participating agree to participate. Anti-choice?
A father smacks his child silly everyday just before school because he says that's the way he wants to raise his children and people should keep their opinions to themselves. His child. He brought it into the world, he can take it out. Anti-choice?
A 40 year old feeds his elderly mother rat poison hoping she will die soon because he can't afford to take care of her. His mother and his choice and people should mind their own business. Anti-choice?
Killing an innocent life is murder even if it is legal in the eyes of God and to pro-lifers. Everyone should have a right to life no matter how old they are.
Choice is in the decision on whether to have sex or not.

Youuuuuu just keep your filthly mitts off my Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, minus onion with extra EXTRA pickles, a Super Size Fries, and Coke Extra Value Meal and 6 pc. Chicken Nuggets with 3 containers of Sweet Sour.
Sh!t, I am hooked...
Anyway- that's the exact reason I'm pro-choice. Take any more choices away and freedom will lose what little meaning it has left in the US.
edit: NO THEY'RE MINE!!.... sorry, okay..

This is precisely why the abortion industry chose the phrase to describe the pro-life movement.

There's a difference between harming yourself and harming someone else.
Are you also "pro-choice" on infanticide? Somehow, I doubt it. But seriously, why not?
If a teen gives premature birth to her baby and dumps it in a trash can to die, that is infanticide and she'll end up in jail. If she instead gets an abortion at the same point in her pregnancy, the law does nothing. That is irrational.
The law on abortions should be changed.

Yes it does. Which is why there are no anti-choice people. Every single citizen greatly values our right to make choices. But every rational citizen also recognizes that certain choices cannot be allowed in a civilized society. We may not choose to hold up a bank. Is that an "anti-choice" attitude? We may not choose to sell halucinogenic drugs. "Anti-choice"? And we may not choose to kill another human being. Unless of course that human being is small and defenseless. No-one has the right to destroy the life of another human being, regardless of the age of the victim.

Your intentions are great.
But the corruption of this world is irreversible. There is no turning back. Bribery in the capitals of the nations of our world insure that the most expedient (profitable) will be promoted over that which is morally accurate and good for us all. It is the Roger Babson equation. When over half of the people are dealing dishonestly, we are in for hard times.

The problem is that you are making a logical argument directed toward a group of people who don't use logic as the basis for their opinions. You are right, at least in my mind. Don't expect others to be able to comprehend logical statements or arguments though.

Pro Choise is just a nice way of saying pro-abortion.A baby's life is inconvenient and so he or she must be killed. Every murder is a choise for the killer chooses to exercise his power over another to take that person's life. Abortion is the choise willingly and with premeditation to take the human life of an innocent and that is a description of murder. It's the reality of abortion that sends chills up my spine.
