Yes, L. Ron Hubbard DID make up Scientology. In fact, he was heard to have said "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

Scientology CLAIMS to be compatible with other religions but in the end, members of Scientology are taught that L. Ron Hubbard's word is infallible and akin to "holy scripture". Hubbard once wrote: "For those of you whose Christian toes I may have stepped on, let me take the opportunity to disabuse you of some lovely myths. For instance, the historic Jesus was not nearly the sainted figure has been made out to be. In addition to being a lover of young boys and men, he was given to uncontrollable bursts of temper and hatred that belied the general message of love, understanding and other typical Marcab PR."

Their Sunday worship generally begins with the minister welcoming the congregation and reciting "The Creed of the Church of Scientology". The minister then typically reads Hubbard's statement on personal integrity. Sometimes on "special occasions", an audio or video recording of Hubbard will be played.

I've been a Scientologist for 13 years so I think I can answer this question with a bit of accuracy:

L. Ron Hubbard is the Founder of Scientology. He spent his whole life researching the human mind and life. This lead him to founding Scientology. He funded his research as a very successful writer. L. Ron Hubbard and Scientologists don't make money from Scientology. The money goes into funding churches and their bills, expansion projects, training staff overseas, general promotion etc. As a newer religion it occasionally that's attacked as weird or different. Who cares, it's to be expected. I've heard some pretty crazy stories on here which are completely laughable. I respect others beliefs and expect the same respect.

Scientology has personally helped me become a happier, more confident and able person. It has allowed me to help others through numerous problems. Any practise that does this is good as far as I'm concerned. I like making people happier.

Some people like making people unhappy and feel bad about themselves. Some people do not have common courtesy. This is just bad manners.

Can you imagine a world without manners and respect for other beliefs and human rights?

I will always work hard to help others and protect human rights. What about you?

L.Ron Hubbard grew to become right into a sci fi author yet wasn't that good at it.He stated in an interview one time that he wrote Dianetics to make money.examine the link under and notice how he invented his self help equipment. Then analyze how Scientology is a pair of pyramid of money, greater you pay, greater in equipment you get.

Well LRHs developed Scientology, it took him over 30 years of research. It started with dianetics and there are hundreds of Scientology books and lectures. Scientology does not interfere with any religion, in fact any Scientologist can be part of any other religion. The religious practice of scientology consist mostly of study of the scientology materials and the practice of such.

I have always said that the notes that were found after his death, which were used as the basis for the expanded religion, where nothing more than notes he made for a new novel. He died before he could start the book, but his closest assistants saw big bucks.. and thats all she wrote.. literally.
