I'm really worried for my bestfriend. She told me she thought she had an STD. She explained to me that she noticed a bump on her vagina that caused pain and eventually turned into a white head or something. Then she said it busted and a whitish substance came out and then it bled a little. And just the other day she told me that the same thing happened again except it was close to the corner of her mouth. Im really scared for her. I told her it may be herpes or something but I dont know. She's going to go get tested but I dont know when. I just need something to tell her so that she will see how serious this is.

I think it might just be a cyst, sometimes people get these and its really a type of acne bump. Acne don't always breakout on the face, it can be on your body too. But still I think she schedule a appointment with a doctor so she could know her status....and I mean fast!!!!

It does sound like she has something going on at first when you told me about the one on the vagina I thought it was just an ingrown hair we get a lot of women in the office that have come in for a bump like that and that was all that it was. But if she got one on her lip too then it is a possibility it is herpes she should go get checked asap so she is not spreading this to other people and even though herpes will never be fully treated she needs to get on a medication to keep the breakouts down so it does not become a more severe problem.

1] herpes do not have 'whitish substance and blood' .The herpes lesions are like blisters, only a lot more painful. Clear, watery fluid will come out or resorb, and it will scab over.
2] the lesion near her vagina sounds like a Bartholin's cyst.
[ Which is similar to a whitehead, except it is in a gland instead of a pore. ]
3] she still needs to be checked, and learn to use protection

it sounds to me like a boil on her vagina. i am pregnant and went in scared that i may have caught something from my boyfriend of 3 years, but it was just a boil that they said came from pressure. the one on her lip could be a cold sore not necessarily herpes. the best thing is go to the doctor but don't worry.

It may or may not be a STD. She needs to get checked. She needs to practice consistent safe sex including condoms.

if you are her friend, tell her like it really is. Its gross that she has these eruptions and she squeezing them. Shes spreading it on her own body. Take her to a dr. If its an std it could worsen and she might permanently damage herself.
