mine too and worse as i get older. I have a mild mitral valve prolapse in my heart which only showed itself in my 30s. Go to your doctor and ask them to do a cardiogram. Mine is so minor that by stopping all caffeine and alcohol and trying to minimise stress i hardly ever get the palpitations now but if i drink alcohol get tired, drink lots of tea or am under stress they can come back. worth a test and it might not even be serious.

Don't be scared just go to the doctors and tell them what has been happening. Ask for some tests. Everyone gets palpitations sometimes but I got an ECG just to check all was well. I have eliminated mine by reducing caffeene, no redbull etc when out and just given up smoking - since then I haven't had one!. Put your mind at rest - you guys - girls would be down the doctor post haste!!

Go to the doctor and get it checked out. I would also have them check blood pressure, cholesterol, and the other signs and symptoms of heart disease.
If you have a family history of heart disease you might consider what changes in your lifestyle you can make to decrease your risk, exercise, stop smoking, eat healthy, etc.

Mine does it all the time, drives me crazy, the doctor says my heart is ok. Anyway some vitamins may help, like calcium and magnesium. Make sure you are eating well, bananas, orange juice are good sources of potassium.

This is a question to ask your doctor, not a question board of non-professional strangers!
