I take clonazapam, for my post traumatic stress and anxiety. It really helps the anxiety and stress, but leaves me wiped out, so much it can at times be hard to function. Should I take uppers, or increase my caffeine? I don't like feeling so tired. I take only 0.5- 1.00 mll a day, and sometimes not even at all.

I also take Clonazepam for anxiety and insomnia. I also take Seroquel and Lexapro for Bi-Polar - all of which cause drowsiness. I take them all about an hour before I want to fall asleep and they work just as good for me as if I would take it during the morning.

I'm taking 1 - 1.5mg a day for the same thing plus for panic attacks. It does have a negative effect on me some days where I just feel worn out and it's hard for me to stay active. I drink TONS of coffee everyday and it really doesn't help counter the effect. My doctor told me caffeine heightens anxiety anyway and that I should actually lower my intake. I wouldn't recommend taking any 'uppers', only a doctor can help you with that. I'd say to try coffee but, like I said, my doctor told me to cut back on it...

I know I'd rather be a bit tired than be crying because I think my house is burning down because I'm having a panic attack because I'm away from home!

Check with your doctor re the dosage. DO NOT take uppers. You do know that klonopin is an extremely addictive drug?

most phsyc meds are designed to make you tired and kind of out of it, trust me, i take prozac, lithium, and vistaril. But talk to your doctor and see if it is to much. I dont like feel tired and listless all the time either but i have to take my meds.
