I am 17 years old, 5'0 and 135 lbs. I am a little overweight and my LDL cholesterol level is at 130.4. The doctor's office told me that normal is between 63 and 130. The past few days, typically after I eat lunch, my chest tightens up, my heart seems to beat faster, and my face feels red and flush and breathing becomes more difficult. I wouldn't think my cholesterol is high enough to cause chest pain, but what do you think? I also have a very high family history of heart disease, high cholesterol, and hypertension.

I eat healthy on the weekdays, no cokes or fried foods or sweets, and on the weekends I usually have two cokes a day and maybe something fried or sweet.
