Getting tested by a doctor would be better.
A lot of STDs don't have any signs or symptoms. Many people have STDs and are just unaware of it because they haven't showed any signs of it.

Ya, that can help if you have sores or blisters. However, sometimes with STDs there are no symptoms and a person can be a carrier without even knowing it. The only way to now for sure is to have your doctor check you out. Sure, even if you did have some "symptoms" it's impossible to diagnose anything on the internet and really, you should be seeing a trained health care professional. Mind you, anyone who chooses to live an active sex life and is not in a committed monogamous relationship where both partners have reliably tested negative for stds should be tested once a year for all stds as part of their regular annual check-up; every 6 months if the behaviours have been more risky.

if you have sores or blisters it's a pretty good indication you may have something but not all std's will manifest themselves in the same manner. you need to go to the doctor and get tested if you thing you have caught something. that is the only way to definately know.

go to health dept / in your area / they can check for HIV / std / etc / good luck
