PID is generally the result of some kind of untreated, prolonged infection. Usually it's chlamydia. But gonorrhea and bacterial vaginosis (which isn't a STD) have been known to result in PID. A lot of these infecitons never show symptoms, and persist silently for months and years until the damage wrought by PID is irreversible. To prevent this from happening, it's important that women get STD screens every 6 months and pelvic exams annually.

In your case, first your doctor needs to see if there's a persistent infection. Once the infection is found, you need to take the right antibiotics to cure it. Curing PID is totally dependent on curing its underlying infection.

Since you've had PID a very long time, it's likely that your Fallopian tubes and uterus suffered some damage. Your doctor can determine the extent of that damage by doing some examinations (pelvic, ultrasounds, etc.). Even if you can cure the infection and the PID, the damage caused by the PID could be PERMANENT. Only oyur doctor can tell you for sure if this is the case.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

Pelvic inflammatory disease is mainly cause by a sexually transmitted disease called chlamydia which tends to often have no presentation of symptoms. Other infections can cause it such as gonnorhea (which is really obvious) or even rarer causes such as ureaplasma (an environmental organism).

Overall as with any infection it can cause scarring of the fallopian tubes and/or ovaries which can lead to infertility. Thats probably the most serious thing that can happen with this condition, its never life threatening. The most common way of identifying it is through examination as your doctor is going to do and as you have experienced the most common symptoms are pain.

there is an inner xray observed as a hsg which you would be able to ask your gp for a refferal for. a dye is inserted with the aid of your womb and in case your tubes have not been left blocked from pid the dye will spill out of your tubes, meaning you may desire to have the potential to concieve. solid success.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/a276e
