All soy products help lower cholesterol: soy milk, soy cheese, soy beans, and etc. Also drinking alot of water helps. If you into vitamins then a good pill would be red yeast.
But the best method is too stay away from food with a high cholesterol content. ex. egg yolks.

Cholesterol, fiber and oat bran
Fiber is classified as either soluble or insoluble. When regularly eaten as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, soluble fiber has been shown to help lower blood cholesterol and may also help reduce the risk of diabetes and colon and rectal cancer. The American Heart Association recommends that you eat at least 25–30 grams of dietary fiber — in both soluble and insoluble forms — every day. The more calories you require to meet your daily needs, the more dietary fiber you need. Try to eat at least 14 grams of fiber per 1,000 calories you consume.

Cheerios make a great breakfast and are proven to help lower your cholesterol. Just make sure you use skim milk and consider putting some sliced strawberries or banana on top.

Eat fatty fish at least twice a week.
Eat oatmeal every morning if possible.
Swallow controlled-release niacin pills daily.
Drink alcohol daily! A man can have 2 drinks daily and a woman, one.
25 grams a day of fiber as recommended is next to impossible but you can try.
You got to exercise too not just eat!?
