How do I find out what diseases/conditions get you medically discharged? Is there some kind of list? I'm not trying to get discharged, but I just started thinking about it because I think i might have diabetes (and yes I'll be going to the doctor for it). Also wasn't really sure whether to put this in health or military section....oh well.

The fact is that right now, if I went to join the Army, they will give me a complete physical, including blood work. When they find thatI have Type II Diabetes (yes, which I really do have), they are going to to tell me thank you for trying to sign up but no thank you, now go home. Why? BECAUSE I HAVE A DISEASE. Without medicine, I would eventully die, and when you think of it, I will die anyway from it someday....to have Mr. Permier say I don't have a real disease is insulting and shows his ignorance. Yes, you should be able to get discharged. Perhaps it is different for each branch, but if I can't get insurance now because of I have a pre-existing condtition (injury or DISEASE), and you must disclose before you're allowed to enlist, I think you wouldn't be allowed to serve and discharged if you are found to have diabetes while serving in the military.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

If it's type 1 diabetes where you're insulin dependent---yes, you can be discharged from the military. I don't know about type 2 which can be managed with diet and oral medication.

If you have diabetes and it has been proven, then you must tell someone because if you don't have your insulin on time or eat properly then you could go into a coma.

You will get physically down category i.e "Cee", but you cannot fly as general duty pilot.
You are grounded for life.
If you plead for a discharge on medical grounds you must have atleast completed 10 years of service.

Definitely...Diabetes is a serious condition which can cause serious problems if not kept under control. High or low blood glucose can cause mental confusion even sudden unconsciousness. Nothing to ignore!
