I am not certain the cause, but I get a rushing feeling in my chest and dizzy feeling when I bend down and return to a standing position. This has only recently been happening. When I say a rushing in my chest, it is like my heart picks up pace, like double time.
I am on 3 meds. Welbutrin for anxiety, levaxatorin for thyroid and lotrel for HBP. I have been on the former 2 for almost 3 yrs now and the Welbutrin for maybe 6 months.
Is it maybe the combo of the Welbutrin and Lotrel?

It's postural Dependant, have your BP checked out in lying, sitting and standing posture by your consultant, and I think he will sort out the problem, it's not that serious so take it cool, but consultation is mandatory.

Could be, but your pharmacist is much more informed on this than your doc. I would call and talk with them. Welbutrin can have some very, very serious side effects. Ask them about that too. Best of luck to you

Your BP may be on the lower side and when you bend down and try to straighten up, you may get that dizzy feeling because of low blood supply to your brain. See your doctor and he may adjust the dosage.

Be careful when you try to get out of bed or stand up from a sitting or squatting position, since you may have a black-out.

Could be the combo, sounds blood pressure related. Don't ask the lay persons in here, get to the Dr, your health and life is worth more than this. JJ
