I am aware that VSDs can be closed but mine is small it is unlikely to be. If I was to die and I still had it could my heart be donated seeing as the hole has never affected me?

yes it could, if you are young and healthy, a heart is a heart, and certainly better than any one you would be replacing. Just remember you have about 16 other organs that are donated when you are a donor.
VSD's are normally fixed when you're young

I admire your concern for humanity, I think you should think about yourself too, if the VSD is causing you no symptoms, why worry? There are your parents, friends who need you, and must be prayer in silence.
Make the best use of your life OK.

Why worry about it?

Go ahead and sign your donor card, even if your heart is not reusable your kidneys and liver might be in good shape.

Ventricular Septal Defect could be cured by meds in caught early in life. Once treated, your heart is as good as any.
