Go with an off-white or very light beige for the walls and a heritage green for the trim. I definitely could live with your choice though forest green might be a trifle too dark for the main walls.

go to home depot or lowes or a place that sales paint and get some color swatches , u can even purchase samples of paints in the shades of green u like and take those home and see how thy will look together , , or if u have a color or shade of green that u like at home take it to the store with u and they may be able to match that shade and make some paint well mix the paint to the shad e u desire , i would paint the trim top and bottom the darker of the green shades u choose and the lighter for the walls etc , make sure that its the shad e u want and can live with cause the darker the paint the harder to cover up when and if u decide to change colors later goo d luck
