randomly during the day i get these strange intense sharp pains in the left part of my chest. most of the time there are two locations, one a couple inches from my armpit and another a couple inches above my nipple. They usually go away after a couple of minutes when i massage it out.
There is heart problems on my dads side of the family and he had a clogged artery a couple years back but luckily we caught it before anything big happened.

Also-- a couple months back i went to an amusement part and i rode a roller coaster that had two loops back to back. maybe 30mins after that i felt like i was about to fain and my face was pale and the veins in my arm looked like they were about to burst, i told my father about this and he said that i was nuts

Better have yourself checked out by a cardiologist, it's better to be late than never. He will sort out your problem, because your H/O includes a coronary artery problem and your symptoms also point at it.

To be safe you should see a doctor.I have gone to the ER with chest pains only to be told it was a panic attack but when I told the doctor I was sorry for taking up her time she said,"the graveyards are full of people who didn't come in with this pain".Get it checked out its probably not heart related but you didn't say if it was after eatting or did it go away at rest and if it comes and goes with movement.Get it checked out and feel better knowing because it is in your family.Good Luck!

Well if it's accompanied by jaw pain and pain up and down your left arm it could very well be heart related. You may need aspirin therapy but please don't go by anything i've just said. Please see a doctor and get proper treatment.I was 16 when my dad had his first heart attack and my mind would play tricks on me all the time and i'd really feel at times like i was having one(heart attack)i mean.I guess i was so worried for him and the fact that the doctor said it was hereditary that i actually felt those pains but they were only panic attacks. It may be all your feeling but please get checked and try to eat healthy and stay fit and you could avoid them in the future....good luck

Possibly , I would get it checked out.If it is heart related the earlier you get treatment the better.I had similar symptoms 5 years ago. 1 stent later I'm feeling fine.Better safe than sorry.

I get the same thing, but on my right side, its likely not heart related, perhaps a muscle spasm...tell your parents and ask them to make you a dr appt.

More likely a muscle spasm, but ask your doctor about it at your next appointment.
