Make sure you have coffee, tea, juices and maybe some alcohol to mix with the juices.

Have at least 1 of each of the following:
Bread: Croissants, muffins, whole wheat bread with
at least 2 jams.

Protien: An egg dish (stratta, frittata, scrambled, poached whatever)
Bacon, sausage, sliced ham (can be mixed with eggs, and/or served seperately)

Starch: Potatoes of some kind........either home fried, potato cakes, hash browns

Cheese: A nice assortment of cheeses.....such as smoked gouda, cream cheese (marscapone would be better), fresh mozzerella, baked brie,

Fruit: Fresh fruit, cut into lovely slices......strawberries, peaches, apples, mangoes, kiwi, (a nice cream cheese dip would be nice).melon wedges.

A nice touch: A great Seafood dish.....Smoked salmon, crab legs, oysters on the 1/2 shell,

You get the idea.

You will have a wonderful time no matter what you serve as long as you are surrounded by people you love. Have a great time.

Well, if you want an answer from us, we better be invited. ;-P
Many things are great. Fresh fruits and veggies with some appropriate dips for each. One I like "Hint, Hint", is fresh strawberries and the Cream Cheese Dip.
Little sandwiches are fun too. Cut off the crust and cut into 1/4s. For something with a little spice to it; get those little Hormel Sausage things, put in a Crock Pot on low and cover with BBQ sauce and one can of Beer. These are called "Drunk Wienies". We use a spoon that will let the BBQ drain off and people get them and use a Toothpick to be sure they dead.
