LOVE. The world we live in today, needs all the love and compassion which we would give to a person in need, were we to meet them on the street. Not a hand-out but a hand up.
Most organic entities can recover from extremes, but proper measures must be put in place for the postive healing forces to begin their work. A cooperative effort on the part of individuals seeking this goal may begin this process.
If you look back to the start of the industrial age here in the United States, you will certainly see where most damaging processes began. Judgments upon those who caused the damages can only do so much. However, appealing to their sense of morality and consciousness might help. It will all depend upon the corporations specific agendas. If greed is their basis without consideration for future consequences, then expect no gain from them. But if they are in the group who believe that the earth (and all of its "occupants") should be respected, then progress may be made.
And know this: You as a person can make a difference. We all matter. And our voices do count for something, We just need to be brave enough to speak up, and to maintain a non-violent approach to all issues.
