How would you be smart to survive?

1. set up some kind of coop so my chickens don't run away
2. plant half the corn, potato's, beans, and all the cabbage and wheat seeds. I would save the rest of the dried corn to feed my chickens and I would eat the rest of the potatoes and eggs and fruit until my other food grew.
3. start a fire w/wood I scavenged ( i would try not to use my trees for wood unless I totally couldn't avoid it). I would try to keep a fire always burning so I didn't have to keep using my matches.
4. Make a shelter w/scavenged wood, the ax and nails and sew a roof and door way w/some of my cloth.
5. I would try to keep my main resources and live off what I produced.
6. Then I would build all kinds of great inventions and get cool guest stars every week. Just like Gilligan!

I would realize that I have 22 very elaborately planned out items, then use # 19 (5,000 nails) to kill myself...
(sorry for the sarcasm)

You forgot some things: lumber to build a small chicken coop for the chickens, battery operated radio, batteries for the radio, some means of having a way to get off the island if you needed to, flare gun, flares for the flare gun a two-way radio for communication with the outside world, seedlings to plant more trees

build a boat and get back to civilization.
Unless I didn't want to leave, in that case, I'd build a home and harvest the trees, plant the seeds, harvest the food, can them(for winter - if there is any).

............well. I'd just eat the fruit that's on the island....make a house like i saw on blue lagoon.....and talk to my chickens so i wont get lonely.

WELL I WOULD MAKE A HOME AND MAKE A FIRE USING THE MATCHES. I WOULD ALSO GROW FOOD USING THE SEEDS AND THE ISLAND'S WATER.
