Well you are pre-disposed to cardiac disease.
1)avoid smoking, alcohol, coffee and go early to bed.
2)no more fat, fried meat/eggs, salt free diet.
4)PHYSICAL EXERCISE IS A MUST, START WALKING AND JOIN A GYM. OR YOU CAN JOG, BUT SLOW AND GRADUAL. YOGA.
5) Have your cardiac evaluation done.

Hi there yaya
Why not try visit to the local Dr or hart clinic and cover all of your bases. If I had chest pain and shortness of breath I would visit the big hospitals emergency department. I'm 53 and Ive had a valve replaced.
The other stuff gets round to personal choice If you try cutting your vegies up a different way (julienne) and don't get sucked into take away or restaurant food. All they want is to make money and keep you coming back. So they make it cheap sweet salty & oily (all the stuff we love to eat)
Laughing is one of the most heavy duty exercises there is so don't worry about pains from using your body worry about loosing the ability to use it. Use it or loose it.

Improve the diet right away.

Boot the beef, change to chicken, add a lot more fruits and vegies. Start with light exercise.

Shortness of breath is a possible sign of either blocked arteries or a damaged heart valve. I've had both (and bypass surgery).

Check you resting blood pressure and resting heart beat, and see a doctor.
