No,,it has real chicken in it. The only one that I know of that is vegetarian friendlt is Top Ramen Oriental flavor.

valid Q for a new to veg person.
I notice that most ramen you find in a grocery (not a snazzy one) will have at least a derived from animal flavoring (V8 does too. Sometimes it can make you want to scream).
but, dressing up the noodles is fine: just toss the packet, as an earlier poster said.
if the ramen is veg, that is what they will brag about, not real animal.

If you read the ingredients, most will have chicken,beef, or fish flavoring. I would avoid them. There are companies that make vegetarian ones but you wont find them 20 for a dollar. Usually about 60-99 cents a pack.

The noodles are ok, the flavoring has so much sodium in it you would be better off eating a live chicken.....

You don't have to eat the stuff in the packet. I usually add parmesan cheese, chives, and garlic powder (with me not being a vegeterian I will often toss in bacon bits--I'm sure you can use Baco's for artificial bacon taste). Just be original. There's no law that says you have to eat the crap it comes with. I don't.

If it says artificial chicken it SHOULD be ok. As far as I know they have to label if they use real chicken or chicken derived products for allergy reasons.

I buy oriental buckwheat or rice noodles, use vegetable stock and throw in my own veggies to make a much healthier version. It's almost as cheap, or as cheap depending on what veggies you use.

Learn to read labels. If it says "---- flavored" anything, it is artificial. If it contains the real stuff, it usually will brag about it rather than just say it is "flavored."

Try eating oriental flavored ramen. That's my favorite flavor, and I don't think there's any meat flavoring in there.
