I live in Texas, and several of the major power companies here have a 100% wind energy option.

I'm with a company called Reliant energy. The regular price for their standard electricity blend (about 10% wind, I think, and lots of coal), is 14.5 cents/kwh. The 100% wind option is 15 c/kwh. I estimate this will amount to about five bucks per bill.

So check the website of your privider - such an option may already exist for you.

The wind power is not reliable. Here in Texas when u need the power for lights the wind stops at night and where u now.

It all depends on where you live. Contact your local energy provider, and ask them if there is a solar/wind option you can choose. Sometimes you can find this info on their website. It may cost a little more tho-
