No Way.
I've done it all my life, it never hurt me.
I guess if you ate any food from the frig that had been there for a long time it might make you very sick.
Cooked food is fine in the frig. for a couple of days.

No. Overnight rice is cold in colder countries. But in hot countries, temperature plays it role by making the rice putrid and sticky. This is because rice contains lots of starches. Eating this would cause stomach upset. But not in cold countries. Cold overnight rice is better than hot rice. Ppl who eats a good deal of cold rice in the morning are strong and healthy especially those who work on farms and fields.

Harmfull? Not likely. Somewhat less than optimally healthy based on the latest cutting-edge health food fads? I wouldn't be surprised. And since cutting-edge health food faddists generally equate anything less than what they define as optimally healthy to consuming death itself, I can see how you might come by such an impression.
